We are looking for an experienced Immunologist to strengthen our Immunology competency in our global microbiome and probiotic R&D organization. The position is located in Wilmington, Delaware. The selected candidate will:

  • Be an integral part of a diverse global team of scientists who together will charter an R&D Immunology strategy to support and strengthen our microbiome research portfolio encompassing human and animal probiotics, postbiotics, prebiotics, and enzyme products.

  • Work with collaborative teams in an industrial R&D environment that values creativity and ingenuity.

  • Help our organization develop a research platform enabled by state-of-the-art technologies and a diverse knowledge base to investigate microbial interactions with the host immune system.

  • Bring mechanistic understanding of microbial impacts on immune parameters in health and disease and help develop products that foster homeostasis and symbiosis.

  • Establish pre-clinical markers of immune activation, suppression, and restoration.

  • Perform and execute in vitro and in vivo studies in support of early stage product discovery.

  • Independently establish and manage internal and external collaborations with respect to professional and cultural differences to advance project goals. This will include working with CROs and academic collaborators.

  • Perform as an entrepreneur with a creative mind and the dedication needed for aiming at scientific excellence.

  • Become a mentor and a leader.
