The 2010 recipient of the ISI Public Lecture Award is Professor Jim Johnston.

Prof. Johnston is currently Deputy Director of the Centre for Infection and Immunity at Queens University Belfast. He was previously a senior staff fellow at the NIH (Bethesda, MD), and later a senior scientist at DNAX Research Institute in Palo Alto, California. During his career, he has published scientific papers in journals such as Nature, Science, Nature Immunology and Nature Cell Biology. 

Prof. Johnston is also the founder of Fusion Antibodies Ltd. and is CEO/CSO of the company.

Prof. Johnston was presented with his award on 20th May in the RDS to mark his oustanding contribution to the field of cancer immunology and health improvement.
